A SO#28, Para 7, dated 3 Feb 65 assigning him to light duty while unfit for duty and to report to BG J.B. Robertson, commanding reserve of TX. Apr 65 muster states absent sick in TX. Signed a Parole of Honor at Marshall, TX. After war a doctor. Died 1906 and buried in Grand Bluff Cemetary, Panola Co., TX w/ wife Nancy.
