I am just beginning to research my father's past, which arose from the myth of the Jackson-Brown contingent in the Alamo. A family name that goes back through the decades is Caleb Brown. The names Jackson and Thomas are also part of our family history. This was on my father's side, and my mother didn't want any part of it, so I really don't know my father's geneology.
