Is anyone aware of definitive history on the 31th Texas Cavalry Regiment. I am looking for unit history and battles. Have heard a little about Massard's Prairie, AR. Need more. SCV is looking to do something about Joseph A. Tivy's grave site, which is located on Tivy Mountain, in Kerr County, TX.(This is the Hill Country).Tivy's tombstone indicated he was a LT in Company A of the 31st. Any help would be appreciated.
