Do you have any info on a Lum Hooks who inlisted in Company D.Nichols 9th Texas infantry,and contracted typhoid and sent home.One of his fellow soldiers John A.Callaway wrote him on Fefruary 1 1862 from Fort Point Galveston.He also had a older brother James Darius Hooks {Day}who fought in the battles of Fort Donelson and Vicksburg where he was captured and was latter in the my of Northern Virginia. If you have or know where I can find any more information about these two please let me know.
