What wonderful advice and understanding! I can tell you know how I feel. Wish me luck. I will probably retire next year, and plan some of the things you mentioned. I have found where my Great Grand Dad is buried, in Oakwood Cemetary, in Richmond. He died near Seven Pines, and I just happened to think about posting my question on the VA board, and got an answer within two days! His muster sheets only have two entries, as "present", as he died in May, 1862. It gave me a great sense of peace to know at last where he rests. He and my two great uncles were in Co. A, 18th Ga. Infantry. For a while they were in Hood's Texas Brigade, and were known as the "3rd Texas". They were in the middle of the corn field at Antietam. I apologize for the spelling in my other post; it looks as if it was typed by a left handed monkey! Thank you again. Stan
