Looking for any information on Jose Augustin Quintero 1829-1885. J A Quintero served in the Confederacy and returned to New Orleans where he served as an editor for the Daily Picayune.

Family lore states that Quintero fought a duel in the New Orleans area shortly after the Civil War. I am also looking for any details on this event.
