William Briggs Lee/Civil War

Am researching my g-g-grandfather's death in the civil war. I am unable to locate which regiment, brigade, company, etc., he was in, but have a copy of a letter from "a camp on Trailor's Creek, AR" telling his wife of his death. The letter states that "the Capt. Lee is dead" and talks about him leaving part of his clothes in Pine Bluff when they set out for Mississippi. Letter is dated May 16, 1863. I am asssuming he was Calvary, as the letter states they have sold his horse and are sending the money home to his widow with 6 children. His name was William Briggs Lee, married to Margaret Boyd Lee. They lived in Ellis County, TX and have scrolled all the muster rolls I can find, to no avail. Also, am not finding where she drew his pension after his death. I do find a "Capt. Lee" on the indigent families rolls, but nothing else. If I could find the company, regiment, brigade, etc., I might be able to find the rest of his information. Thanks for any help...
