Some Kin in Texas Units

Of course all these were Confederate :)
These men from Titus and Franklin Counties....John Caudle, D. C. Caudle, Mark Caudle, david Caudle, James M. Caudle, Newton Caudle and W. H. Caudle.
Jackson Petty from Hunt Co. served with Waterhouse Regt.
The following were cousins to each other John Chesley Gilbreath, John Chesley Caudle and William Henry Chaney were Sheriff, Deputy Sheriff and Jailer of Erath Co., in 1883.
Carroll Rose served under Col. Trousdale and waas discharged at New orleans in 1837( florida War). He later served in the Red River Dragoos, 8th Brigade.
Granville C. Rose served in the Frontier Regt. of TST, and served in Co. B under Capt John Salmon. He served latter with the 20th Brigade TST and again in the 2nd div. of Frontier Rangers under Major George B. Erath.
chesley H. Rose was a member of Co. H, Frontier Regt. TST under Col. James E. McCord.
Andrew F. Turnbow served in the 2nd Frontier Div. under Major George B. Erath.
Franklin Houston Turnbow (Huce) served with Co A Frontier Rangers TST.
Chesley Caudle served in Co G, 30th Regt, Texas Ca.

These are just a few names that someone may be able to use in searching for Confederate ancestry.
