My gg grandfather was also Caleb Brown. Born Aug. 1833, Blount Co. Ala. He and his wife, Sarah Armentrout had 6 boys before his death. John William, James Wesley, Robert, Caleb McCloud Jr., Thomas Monroe and George Henry, whom Sarah was pregnant with when Caleb went to war. There are quite a few decedents of these boys that are actively searching for information on them.
