Here's some addtional data on the 4th Texas Cav that comes
from a pension ap. Barry Greenwood O'Neal was a private who
enlisted in Jan 1864 in Louisana and was with the unit when
it disbanded in 1865 at Mosley's Ferry. O'Neal is not in the
records, but was remembered by former Lt. William O Allen
and Harvey Holcomb. Holcomb may be the H.H. Holcomb of the
37th Texas Cav. O'Neal died in 1912 and his widow filed the
claim.
