The battlefield is south of the airport. The airport is on the north side of Zero Street. The battlefield, is south of Zero and east of Old Greenwood Road. Directly west of Ben Geren Park. "The" Massard Prairie is the large plain that includes the area from where Chaffin Jr High is located, bounded by Massard Road on the east and west of US 71 on the west, the hills just north of the Airport (Phoenix Ave) on the north and Rye Hill on the south. The battle occurred south of the west end of the Airport.
