A searchable Texas Confederate Pension database is at www.tsl.state.tx.us/arc/pensions/index.html . Type in Robbins and do a state wide search. It should bring up 35 records for veterans who applied in Texas, or their wifes (if the vet died/or did not live until 1899 when Texas started approving pensions). If your ancestor moved to another southern state that awarded Confederate pensions he would have filed in that state.
