Re: Benjamin Hartt of Bourland's Regiment

Benjamin Hartt was my g-great uncle. He was born around 1845 in Rusk Co.,Texas. I received info on him being in this regiment, from his Pension Application. In the listing of Texas Confederates he is incorrectly shown as Benjamin Hart. He joined the confederacy about 2 yrs. after his older brothers (James A.,wounded at Chickamauga and later died from the wound, and his brother (my g-grandfather) William Jackson Hartt) who were in the 14th Texas Cav.,Co.C (dismounted). I hope this helps you. Lynn
