Abraham Burdine Hunt, San Antonia

Abraham Burdine Hunt, who was called Burdine, was born in Pickens District, S.C. on 21 Feb 46. He initially enlisted in the 2 S.C. Rifles 29 Oct 61, while only 15 years of age. On 21 Apr 61 he transferred to C/13 S.C. BN, a unit mostly formed from the remnants of the old 4 S.C. In Aug 62 he transferred to the 37 VA CAV BN, in one company of South Carolinians of this otherwise Virginia unit. In 1864, probably in May, he transferred to K/Hampton Legion Mounted Infantry; he was present on the last roll in Dec 64, but does not show up on any parole lists. I suspect that he was home on furlough to mount in April, 1865, but who truly knows. He moved to Texas in 1868, and lost his eyesight shortly after arriving in Texas. He remained a Texas resident for the remainder of his life, interspersed with periodic visits to S.C. He was fatally injured in an automobile accident in San Antonio in ca Apr 1922, and died there on 21 May 22. I seek any information on his life in Texas and particualry his place of burial.
Thanks in advance.
