9th Tx Calvary, Co D, Morgans Regt, Co E

Okay trying to learn here, just not sure what all the terms mean. I found the 9th Tx Calvary, organized at Camp
Reeves, near Sherman, Grayson Co.on Oct.2, 1861
Mustard into Confederate service on Oct. 14, 1861???
Dismounted in Apr 1862???
Reorganized on May 26 1862???
Remounted later in 1862???

This information also has a list of Assignments and Engagements. Battles and engagements and the surrender date.
Does anyone have more information on Camp Reeves?
This is the N J Chance in 9th Tx Calvary, Co. D as a priv

Another N J Chance in Co E, Morgans Regiment, Tx Calvary, as a private, did not find any information on this regiment. I need to find out if these are 2 different N J Chance's, My Newton J Chance's daughter was born in Cooke Co, Tx Aug 25, 1862. I guess I need more iformation on Morgans Regt.
Thanks for any help
Karla
