I received a stack of articles from the Texas Republican some weeks ago relating to the 7th Texas. I haven't had time to properly go through them yet, but did note that the Waco Guards, Company A, originally had one man listed as color bearer on the roster. I'll let you know if I find other such information in those articles.

BTW, I own a copy of the Texas State roster and will be checking it shortly in regard to the other inquiries you have posted.
