Again, I'm not looking at the info, so this is from the hip.
His name is John Cummings, sometimes referred to as "Uncle Jack".
Wife's name: Adeline Henderson.
He had a couple of girls named: Amanda, Lucretia, Mary Jane, and Willia(sp?).
Son named Andrew.
Info that I have found indicates that he applied for his pension in 1864, but this date does not sound right since I thought the war lasted until 1865.( I dont know cause I guess I didnt pay attention in American history class, or, cause its been too long ago to remember)
