I approached TSLAC (Texas State Library & Archives Commission) recently and offered to donate materials re a Confederate ancestor of mine buried near Junction, Kimble Co. TX (Col. John Griffith, 11th & 17th Arkansas Infantry).
I received a polite thanks but no thanks email that informed me that TSLAC does not accept materials re Confederate soldiers, only "...voluminous records of state that are our primary charge..." (!!?!?!?!?).
Is this a relatively new TSLAC policy? Does this smack of "PC" perhaps???
Comments..???
