A couple of years ago on Texas Day to Day they ignored the Texas Revolution on a significant day, opting for a more modern event. I was so floored I called them, and much to my chagrin the gentleman I spoke to did NOT have a Southern accent. He said they decided people were probably getting tired of the same old thing every March and April. Hopefully the South shall someday rise again on Texas Day to Day.
