Price Brothers: John M. and Madison Freeman
In Response To: Price Brothers ()

Charles Temple,
.
Your "John M. Price" and "Madison Freeman Price" were in the Brush Battalion of North Texas. ..I think the "M.F. Price" in an 1864 Wise County TX militia listing is yours. ..The top line on the regimental cards do not reflect the soldiers' names which are scribbled toward the bottom. ..If you contact me, I will send you a copy of the "scribbles."
.
Please send the vital data on your Price brothers, i.e.
1) birth year and county
2) death year and county, cemetery
3) marriage year and county
4) spouse/s
5) other military unit service
.
I have spent a lot of time studyding the Brush Battalion of North Texas; in fact, I consider this a major contribution to Texas history. ..In my 1,046-page book, I have devoted about 30 pages to this study.
