Enlisted as a Private ?/?/1862, conscript, "I" Co. TX 6th Cavalry, later in 1863 detached for service as a nurse at Oakline [?], Mississippi, May/June 1863 recorded as Sick in camp, July/August 1863 muster recorded as Deserted. There are 8 cards in his file
