I found 13 cards on Pvt C S Kemp Co A Brown's 35th Tex Cav, From March 1862 unknown location, until Nov 1864 where he was guarding ordnance stores at Rusk,Tx.
There is a Pvt Charles Kemp who was in Capt John T. Holt's Company, Terry's Regt.texas Mtd. Rangers. Enlisted Sept 7,1861 at Houston, for the war.
Discharged Oct 27,61 at Bowling Green,Ky on Surgeons certificate of disability, Diesease of the left lung.
There was also a William Kemp and a John M Kemp in Brown's 35th
