The title to the POW document is, "Prisoners captured in New Mexico and near Fort Gibson, Cherokee Nation". Prisoners captured in New Mexico have units and date-place of captured noted; those captured near Fort Gibson apparently do not. I believe the man on this list is Reuben Finley of Co. "E", 1st Cherokee Mounted Rifles.
