James Bourland's Wife

I have recently found two documents that suggest that M. E. Williams or Martha E. Williams was the wife of James Bourland. Both are buried at the Bourland Cemetery in Tarrant Co., Texas. Martha E. Williams was the daughter of Thomas Davis Williams who served as a Lt. under Col. Bourland per his C. W. Pension Papers. Whether Bourland's Regiment was recognized or not when the Battle of Pea Ridge occurred, it is highly possible that he fought at Pea Ridge as Thomas Davis Williams did. Any thoughts on this?

I have also found a State of Texas Claim for a Thomas Cousins who nominated James Bourland to receive any thing due to the deceased Cousins. Who was Thomas Cousins? Clydene
