Re: Moseley's 7th Field Light Artillery

I believe I have a relative who served in Moseley's. His name was James Emmett Haddon, born 1 Jan 1842 in Sullivan, Indiana. He was the son of William R. Haddon and Julia Ann Cartwright from Sullivan, Indiana. He died 24 Aug 1866 and was buried in the Haddon Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. He was not married. I am a descendant of William R. Haddon's brother, John, Jr. who was one of Stephen F. Austin's Old 300. James Emmett's brother, William R. Haddon, Jr. lived in TX in 1860 but returned to Indiana and fought for the Union - 21st Indiana Infantry.
