Thomas O Cawthon, has 34 Plus two records in Gregs Texas Infantry, which was later the 7th Texas, part of a consolidated regiment and several other attachments. They ended up in North Carolina at the end of the war. The history should be fairly interesting. You can purchase the records here at this web site. I found he Joined at Marshal Texas in Oct 1861 and was 21 years old. Is this your man. I found this at Footnote.com under Civil War Service Records, TX, Gregs Infantry found after the 6th and the Cothron spelling had no entries.
