Re: Arnold's Company, Texas Infantry Riflemen

Arnold's company does not have much of a history. It was apparently raised under a requisition made on the State of Texas to furnish troops to the Confederate Army. The muster roll for Arnold's company is dated May 14, 1861 at which time it was stationed at Nacogdoches, Texas. There is no evidence of it ever being mustered into Confederate service. It may have been reorganized and joined the C.S.A. with different personnel.
