Correction: "Capt. Henry LeKeasler" in the following paragraph from your (Don Bowman) posting "Date: Saturday, 19 September 2009, 1:14 am", should be Captain Henry LeKoester. LeKoester and his roster of Company E, Baird's-Showalter's 4th Texas Cavalry, 4th Arizona Brigade is presented on the following web page. It also references 4 men that Bourland sent to LeKoester in July 1864 and December 1864.

Showalter to northern Texas with Companies A, B and C on a rather mundane mission to Fort Washita in the Indian Territory to guard and transport Confederate prisoners from there to Brig. Gen. McCulloch at the northern HQ in Bonham. ... "

Thus far, I have not found "Henry LeKoester" in the US censuses. You are the first researcher I have found to mention his name. I have sort of an outline of the Arizona Brigade that I've been concocting, but I've barely scratched the surface.
