I need some help locating a muster roll, payroll, etc. for my gggrandfather Samuel Partin (sometimes spelled Parton or even Partain). He was in Rusk Co., Texas in 1860 and I really believe that's where he joined up although it might have been in another county in east Texas. According to his wife's pension application he was in the 35th cavalry and his Capt. was Cundiff/Cundoff. This is the only information that I have and I would really appreciate any help that anyone can give. Thanks, Nettie
