I have a Marion A Cox, b: 1828 in AL, d: 1887 in Van Zandt Co., TX, and I am looking for him in the Civil War .. He was married to Elizabeth A Rickles, but his age would have been 34 at the beginning of the war, so I suspect your Marion A Cox is not my guy. Do you have his siblings, or parents or any other info that could include or exclude him from your Mr. Cox.
