I'm pretty sure our Marion A. Cox is the same man. Mine was first married to Elizabeth Rickles. I show his birthdate to be 1831. I have service records (18th Cav. Texas Co. G found on Footnote.com) that report his age to be 25 at the time of his entry into the war which is interesting. May I ask your connection to him or what is your interest in him.
