Coincidentally, I stumbled across a grave for Bester South in Bryan, Texas, many years ago when I lived there and was working for the City. The grave is in the small, private cemetery in Garden Acres Park, just north of the Texas A & M campus.

I only recall the name because it was so unique and made reference to Civil War service. If you determine that's your man, I can give you directions to the site.
