Searching for any info on Adam Reed Bowen who enlisted in 32nd Tex. Cav in Anderson Co. Tex. 1862 Decended from Robert Gillespie and Mary (Polly) Wilson Bowen , Hickman Co. Tenn. Adam was from Hickman Co Tenn. but mover to Anderson Co. Tex. on/or about 1855 or so and married Ethelia Jane Howard. Confed. Muster roll shows him in hosp. in Knoxville Tenn. shortly within a few months of enlistment. Family bibly states "died in Knoxville in service to the Confederacy" Unsure if wounded ( was in hosp sev. months) or died due to sickness.
Searching for any info. especially burial site. Info or letters from decendants. Pictures. Will share what we have.
