Re: Bushwacker Bill Wilson's Death
I just purchased a copy of "Bushwhacker: A Story of Missouri's Most Famous Desperado" at Blue's Market in downtown Newburg. Interestingly, it only lists the reprint dates, which are 1975 and 85. I did not realize, until this thread, that it was written in the 30s, but it makes more sense now, based on the way it's written. It also says that you can get a copy of the book from "Rosalie Jones / Route 3 Box 178 / Rolla, MO 65401". It is an enjoyable book, not just because of Bill Wilson; but, also because of the way the author writes, and the clear bias, bordering on hero worship, of Bill Wilson. By the way, the current co-owner of Blues Market, Pat (Falkenrath) Stevenson, is also a grand daughter of Bill Wilson.
