I am the great great grandson of Captain Thomas Burns Smith 11th Texas Infantry, Co B and Co I. Looking for any info on him, ie. place of death, burial, photos, battles etc. What I know so far is that he was born in Alabama, 17 Dec 1830 and died on 9 May 1864. I believe he was killed or died in Arkansas, but not sure where buried. Most likely Texas, just not sure. His father was Thomas Smith born 27 jun 1779. He married Mary Ann Norman on 19 Oct 1851. They had seven children. Would love to know more about him. Thank you for any and all help you can give.
