August 1 to September 1, 1862 stationed at Post of Arkansas, Arkansas
August 31, 1862 to April 30,1863, station not stated
October, 1862 stationed at The Post of Arkansas

William Hart, Captain, Captain Hart's Artillery Company, enlisted August 1, 1861 at Fayetteville by Col. Hindman for the war, reported to R. R. Garland, Colonel Commanding Post [of Arkansas], October 13, 1862, captured at Fort Hindman, Arkansas Post, Arkansas January 11, 1863, sent to Camp Chase, Columbus, Ohio prison camp via St. Louis, Mo.*, arrived January 30, 1863, Description, age 36, 5' 9", blue eyes, light hair, fair complexion, transferred to Fort Delaware, Del., April 10, 1863, paroled April 25, forwarded to City Point, Virginia for exchange April 29, 1863, surrendered with the Army of the Trans Mississippi under Genl E. Kirby Smith, signed his parole July 3, 1865 at Millican, Texas as Captain, Commanding 2nd Arksansas Light Battery
