John T. Lanham, age 32, 1st Sergeant, Captain John B. Williams' Company of Vols.* enlisted March 28, 1862 at Hillsboro, Texan by John B. Williams for the war, described at 5' 8", gray eyes & black hair, received bounty of $50 on June 24, 1862 at Camp Stonewall Jackson, Headquarters 19th Regiment Texas Cavalry, Dallas County, no further records [there are no company muster rolls recorded in the files for this regiment, hence, we are unable to track individual histories]

* This company subsequently became Company D, 19th Regiment Texas Cavalry (Burford's)
