looking for info on a member of Giddings Bn. Carringtons Co. Ford's Rgt.
I've got a Shaw J.H. listed on offical roster of Texas troops on page 273 of Confederate state roster vol 2.
Also in vol. 1 p 475. Im trying to find or confirm first and possibly middle name of J.H.Shaw.
I guess I need an expert on Fords Rgt. that has access to hard (original) copies of roster's to find
the name's to match the initials of J.H.
Just trying to get into the S.C.V. and I need to confirm Confederate service. Thanks much for any help.
