I am looking for an ancestor- Jacob Jefferson Cutler who served in this company and died in another state. Need help to locate the whereabout of this company and possible a location of Jacob Cutler burial records or death records. We think he died in 1863. He was in Co. L of the 28th Texas Cavalry and was transferered to Co. C, Morgan's Regiment Texas Cavalry. I am trying to secure a veterans headstone for him to be placed in our cemetery by that of his wife.
