Record of Events

Company A, for the period July & August, 1863, stationed at Double Bogey Choctaw Nation

Accompanied 2 Squadrons 30 Texas Cavalry on a scout from Bankhead under command of Major Davenport to Limestone Gap Choctoaw Nation, distance about Ninety miles. Started on the 23rd day of July, 1863. Started on the same route with 2nd Brigade, 1st Division, Army of Texas to reinforce General Steele from Camp Bankhead on the 23rd day of August. Arrived at this camp, Middle Bogey, on the 29th day of August, 1863

There exists for this regiment, only two muster rolls which survived to be recorded in the Compiled Service Records, the muster in roll of July 1, 1862 and the July & August, 1863
