Need help in identifying a Texas soldier at Gettysburg, Private Frank G----- (last name unknown). Wounded in the left thigh by a grapeshot. He remained on the battlefield from July 2 until July 4 with very little attention, until brought to the field hospital of the Union Fifth Corps. He was operated on by Surgeon B. Rohrer, 10th Pennsylvania Reserves, assisted by Dr. Joseph A. Phillips, and Henry Grimm, Surgeon, 12th Pennsylvania Reserves. He died 36 hours later.
