Co. F, 4th TX Mounted Vols, Col James Reillys Reg.

I am interested in finding out the engagements of this particular Company ("F") of the 4th Texas Mounted Volunteers, Col. James Reily's Regiment. Did this Company participate in the Battles of Valverde & Glorieta in New Mexico OR depart with Col. Reily when he was transferred to Wllows Bar, AZ? Also, following Silbey's retreat back to Texas, where all did this Company serve? Besides Co. F's formation in Livingston, Tx during early-September 1861 and its muster in San Antonio, Tx later that same month, and its arrival at Ft. Bliss in December 1861 as part of Silbey's invasion of New Mexico, the only thing I know is that it was disbanded at Hempstead, Tx in May 1865. My great-great grandfather (Smith Benjamin Hindman) served in this Company throughout the war and I would like to track his involvement. Thanks...
