The compiled service records for Morgan's command consist of only one muster roll. I suggest you conduct a Goggle search, Morgan's Texas Cavalry, there's is a lot of information there, including an old thread from this message board.

Alex Haynes, 3rd Sergeant, Company B, Morgan's Squadron Texas Cavalry*, enlisted April 8, 1861 at Linden, Texas by Capt. Rhea for 1 year, last shown present on the Sept. & Oct., 1863** muster roll

* This company subsequently became Company G, Morgan's Regiment Texas Cavalry.

Morgan's Battalion Texas Cavalry was organized with seven companies about November 23, 1863, by the consolidation of Major Charles L. Morwan's Squadron Texas Cavalry, Captain R. D. McKie's Squadron Texas Cavalry and Captain William R. Dawson's Squadron Louisiana and Texas Cavalry. Three other companies were added at various times and the designations changed to Morgan's Regiment Texas Cavalry about February, 1865.

** Record of Events: Since the last muster, a portion of the Company has been in two fights - One in Ark river 6 miles below Little Rock, on the 10th of Sept the other at Pine Bluff, Ark on the 25th of October the Company has been scouting & marching under Brig. Genl Marmaduke from the 6th of October to the present date (11/6/63) on the 25 of Oct. the Non-Com Officers and Privates were assigned to Capt. Pratts Battery for Company Duty & the officers on detached service (or Furloughed) by order Brig. Genl Marmaduke

Note: This is the only surviving muster roll in the records of the regiment
