Many thanks - here's what I found based on your information:
When the Civil War broke out former Texas Ranger Pasquale (Pasquier) Leo Buquor organized a volunteer company and served as captain. According to his war records, he mustered into Company A, Third Regiment Texas Infantry of the Confederate States Provisional Army on May 25, 1861. He was ordered to Camp Verde to take command. His wife Jesusa and four children accompanied him to this post, arriving on 1 June 1861. In August of 1861, Captain Buquor reported receiving some prisoners of war and that they were being held in good order with 100 yards of the garrison.
Captain Buquor and his family were transferred to Fort Brown, near Brownsville, Texas.
