Our Deputy Commander gave a 4 minute talk at the Kerrville War Memorial, today. He explained the roots of Memorial Day and how the South influenced it in about 1868. Will try to get a copy an post it, or ask him to post it. Crowd was well over 100 and included Kay Bailey Hutchinson. Well received by all. Ted Conerly was in Union Blue today and our camp honor guard (In Confederate with two in blue) posted and retrieved the Colors. Also well received. SCV 1938 Hill Country
