I am trying to find information on my great grandfather, George Whitfield Kidd. He may be listed as George W. Kidd or G.W. Kidd. I know he served in this company. I found where he had filed for veteran pension and also information showing what reginment he served in. He seved for 2 years and was discharged in Hopkins Co. Texas in May 1865. He did not transfer to another regiment during his stay in the civil war. I would like to find information on his regiment example the officers, battles fought and where fought.
