My wife and I have been working on our family tree and we found an article about my great great granfather Conrad Crites or it might be his son Daniel Crites was in the 15 calverly and that he was wounded in i think MS or Al it never had a date to it but they said in the article that while he was in the hospital the war was over and he walked home to Pilot Point TX. Please let me know what infomation you find.
