My GG grandmother is Mary Julia Beck Blackburn she married my GG Grandfather Samuel Hunter Hardeman. I'm interested in finding out more on Mary and her family. It appears Mary's father was Alexander Beck, he served in Co. D 2nd Texas Infantry, C.S.A. Alexander would be my GGG Grandfather. My interest is also up because my GGG Grandfather Blackstone Hardeman Jr. Was a Confederate Maj. and Quartermaster during the war and lived in Nacogdoches, TX. It would be interesting to learn about another GGG Grandfather and his service during the war.
