This is on my bucket list! My GGf had brother and cousins in Indiana. He fought in the Trans-Mississippi and the Atlanta and Tennessee Campaigns. With a little bit of effort, I can find kin in apposing battles. Corinth and Hatchie Bridge. Iuka and several places between Rome and Atlanta. There are too many chances for kin to appose each other. Mine were fighting each other in Tennessee before the war. One branch of Nolans changed there spelling and moved to Indiana. I know which place the two ended, but I do not know which changed their name. Before Nolan and Nolen, they were Nolin and Nowlin before the fight. Hope I have time to search it out.
