Hi. I'm working on Mr. Cummins, too. He and his brother, A. G. Cummins, were in the farm implement business in Grapevine in 1866, and A. G. Cummins appears here in the tax lists. Both men are in Collin County by 1870 and appear next-door to each other; both are plow makers. JRC and two other men patented a piece of land in Tarrant County in 1873.

I once had a copy of Cummins' company roster...I think it was two pages and very hard to read. If you have one I'd like to get a copy. If you can reply to me at my email address you can see what I'm doing.

Both men have headstones in the big city cemetery in McKinney, although AGC actually died in Florida. Looking forward to hearing from you.
